WIlliam Henry (1877- 1932)  

William Henry’s son William Henry  (1877-1932) married Annie Kay (b. 1866). They had Harry Fulford (b.12/10/1916) who married Nancy B. Smithies. They divorced and Harry emigrated to Australia @ 1950. Jeremy Smithies reports that his father, Harry wanted to emigrate to Australia but that Nancy (his wife) did not want to leave !

Nancy and Harry had  Jeremy Smithies who is still alive in Guernsey.  Jeremy  changed his name from Fulford to his mother’s name ‘Smithies’ by deed poll in 1968.

There is a Fulford Street, Old Trafford Manchester, named after our Fulford relatives who owned the Empress brewery on Chester Rd.
